Salix sp. (Willows)

Willows are complicateed and confusing. I began a study of our local willows a few years ago, but, as it evolved, we are out of town every year at a critical time, so I have been unable to complete the study, or confirm any identification of these particular plants. Hence, I am including photos and locations, but no names. Frustration! We have lots of willows, several species.

A friend of ours, who was helping us with hay, saw a lion bound cross the road and hide in this willow.

This is my favorite Magnolia willow.
